Why is learning by games effective? Learning by games is effective because you’re not just an observer of the story like while reading books or watching movies, in video games you are able to live through the story, to have some control over it, not just watch it. That’s why we want to use video games in education, they offer way better immersion than other sources especially in VR. That’s why you automatically remember more.
The fabula in Echo Of Valor is set between 1939 – 1944, and it tells amazing story of Mieczysław Zygfryd Słowikowski. He was a genius Polish spy that created the biggest in the world and the only one in north Africa spy network that made possiblle operation “Torch”. His story begins in 1939 when WWII starts and he needs to escape from Moskow to France. Mieczysław manages do do it and is working there until nazis don’t atack France, when that happens he starts evacuating polish officers from there to North Africa which is not an easy job. After some time of this operation he gets a letter from British government that says than he is in charge of establishing “Agency Africa” . That’s only the short version of start of the story and it’s allready very intresting.
